FORM US WITH LOVE

Haven't update my blog for a while, cos I was totally occupied by the preparations of Frankfurt Fair, finally finished the catalogue and leaflet. And now it's time to get back the product work. Start doing a quick surf and have found one of my favourite design group, FORM US WITH LOVE's Botanic catch my eyes. A revolutionary breakthrough by using renewable weaving material as the main structure. Inspired by organic architecture and nature, it reminds me the forest scene of Tim Burton's ALICE IN THE WONDERLAND. Can we add function on it but rather just a decoration or sculpture? How about a lampshade at home or at the hotel lobby?

Purple Sky

One of the reasons I like taking bus is I can enjoy the view outside during the journey; seeing people walking, looking at the clouds etc. The colors of sky keep changing always catch my attention. And last nite I see the purple sky~

Happy New Year~~ Happy twenty ten!!! Had dessert with my friend last week, one of the dishes looked like a tank~~ which reminded me the little green soliders in the movie, TOY STORY. I then start doing two interesting collages~~

Tavi Gevinson, a 13-year-old girl who is a fashion criticaster and fashion lover. Started to know her from a local magazine and went surfing on net to know more about how famous that tiny gal is. Peacock Brooch

Haven't have time to update my blog recently~ just found out that I haven't post my work in a class I attended on May. A series of chinese style accessories and jewelry design, I chose green as my theme color for the whole series. A Peacock Brooch was born.

Just received a new Lomo film camera. Diana F+ cross-over with Hong Kong designer, Dorothy Tang. Adorable Ching Fa Chinese pattern, made the whole camera a new look. Haven't buy the 120 films for testing, will get some rolls and take more photos for the autumn sunshine.

Natalia Brilli, one of my favourite accessories and handbag designers, has transformed her black humor to her design. By making use of imprint technique on leather; some everyday objects such as a matchbook, a wallet, a passport case have been transformed into something precious. A new definition of fashion, art and design has been created.
