Little bit or some more?

Little bit, a favorite song of my play list recently. Heard this song from an Australian website incidentally, I’ve found myself fallen in love with it. Both the melody and Lykke’s voice make me looping the songs again and again. Though I can’t hear every word clearly, the way of singing and the beats allure me lot. Can’t find a way of using this song as the background music of my blog, still wanna share it with you~ a wonderful music video which fits the music perfectly. ENJOY!

Bloom bangle

The first classwork I made during the Decoupage class, named it Bloom representing the blooming flowers on the bangle.
Making a bangle like this was easier than I thought. Simply cut and paste the tissue paper and stick them on the bangle, blow-dry it with hair dryer and use a sponge to color the surface. Let it dry and paint a glossy coating on top, that is~ SIMPLE??
Try to make one yourself~

The art of treason

Tsang Cho Choi, probably might be the first graffiti artist in Hong Kong. To show his objection about the land was seized by UK government, he started using Chinese writing brush and black ink to write his assertion of rights on walls everywhere in Hong Kong. People called him the “King of Kowloon”, and some fashion designers used his graffiti as symbolic patterns on their works. However, after his rest, can we still keep the art of treason?

the scent of Autumn

Autumn, my favorite season in the four. But it seemed that it is the hardest season to think of what to draw in my first series. Surfing on the internet to get some ideas or inspirations, luckily, I searched something about Persian chrysanthemum, or you can call it Autumn Sakura (秋菊), is a kind of flower which bloom in Autumn. Though I still have no chance to see the Autumn Sakura in person, I do hope I can smell the scent of it later time. P.S. A bad news came into my ears this morning; my secondary schoolmate just passed away. I do hope her husband can be strong and Mandy, R.I.P. will pray for you and your whole family.

Love without talking

The sweetest love story I've ever in touch with. Sometimes, we don’t have to say it out; just a smile, a kiss, an eye contact or a hug better than any verbal explanation. Spending twelve minutes to watch the video, making me happy for entire day. This is a bliss.

Winter yearning

Still in muggy summer with pouring rain outside all the times; start missing snowy Toronto. Although had to shovel snow in heavy snow, can't forget the time of snowing.
Especially during Chinese New Year festival, walking on China Town, hearing the crowd and music from far to closer and closer. People circled the lion dance group, to see the lion dancer about to kick lettuce. Pretty like the moves of the lion and of course the colorful lion costume.

sever-year itch

Haven't paint a picture since I was graduated in visual studies. With limited working space after moving back to Hong Kong, and also had no spare time on doing this or that (probably those are excuses) one proper word: lazy can be used to explain the entire situation.
Anyway, suddenly feel like it's time to pick up all those I used to do. So I went to art supplies store and got some canvases (of course they aren't the big scale but tiny ones) and paints, started thinking of the theme of paintings... cool~~ many good ideas came at once but finally chose to paint four as a series.... something about four seaons.
Didn't follow the sequence but just my mood~
The very first one after my seven-year itch: Lime Spring 青春 or you can call it "Youthhood" by translating the name from Chinese.

Summer Water

This is my third painting under Four Seasons series, named Summer Water. Under 34 degree muggy weather, really wanna dive into water and swim like a fish. It inspired me to catch the moment of splashing water when the new goldfishes "dive" into my dad's fish bowl.
Finally have some ideas on the last painting of this series; hint is something about Autumn, my favourite season which I was born in.
